What to expect with dental bonding
For best results, it’s recommended to have your teeth professionally cleaned of plaque and tartar before your dental bonding procedure. Some patients also opt for professional teeth whitening prior to the bonding procedure for a more dramatic result. We offer in-office or take-home whitening kits. Keep in mind whitening treatment and results are different for everyone – consult with your doctor about what to expect during your teeth bleaching appointment in advance.
At your bonding appointment, your dentist will colour-match the bonding material to your newly brightened smile and apply thin layers of the resin material to your teeth, shining a light over the tooth between layers to harden the material.
