Our Doctors
Each of our dentists trained right here in Saskatchewan and holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. They are licensed by the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan and committed to patient-centred care.
Our dentists
Wildwood Dental Clinic is home to six general dentists, all trained at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. Together, they bring a broad range of experience and clinical interests across preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and family dentistry.
Dr. Adam Koob
DMD; University of Saskatchewan, 2013
Dr. Adam Koob graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2013.
Married to his high school sweetheart, Adam is a dentist at Wildwood Dental Clinic who enjoys fishing, cooking, fitness, computers, and riding motorcycles in his spare time. Adam has been surrounded by the dental profession since he was a child. He has a passion for dentistry and the opportunities it presents to help people in the community. He enjoys being able to work with his hands and being able to utilize new technology in his personal and professional life.
Dr. James Dessouki
DMD; University of Saskatchewan, 2004
Dr. James Dessouki graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine and a B.Sc with an Advanced Certificate in Anatomy. He has worked at Wildwood Dental Clinic since graduation and since 2013 also practices one day per week at Biggar Dental Clinic.
James enjoys spending time with his two sons skiing, fishing, golfing, and travelling. He is committed to continuing education, including a recent course in contemporary and aesthetic dentistry at the University of Minnesota, and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Jay Stevens
DMD; University of Saskatchewan, 2004
Dr. Jay Stevens graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. Upon graduation he joined Drs. Hamilton and Plosz at Wildwood Dental Clinic.
Dr. Jay Stevens belongs to the Canadian Dental Association and is a member in good standing with the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
Jay's goal is to provide your family with modern dental care in a friendly environment.
Outside the office, Jay enjoys golfing and spending time with his family. Jay and his wife, Hilary, have three children.
Dr. Christy MacPherson
DMD; University of Saskatchewan, 2019
Dr. Christy MacPherson grew up in Saskatoon and attended the University of Saskatchewan where she earned degrees in Biology (B.Sc) and Education (B.Ed). She taught high school science for several years in and around Saskatoon before returning to university to earn her DMD in 2019. While in dental school, she was a founding member of DIRECT Dental, the first student-run dental clinic in Saskatoon.
She enjoys the challenges of general dentistry, and her focus is to make the dental experience a positive one for her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, travelling (especially to any place where she can scuba dive), and spending time with friends, family, and her husband Alex.
Dr. Richard Kerby
DMD; University of Saskatchewan, 2021
Dr. Richard Kerby graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2021. He also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biochemistry with a medical specialisation from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. Richard enjoys fishing, running, travelling, and spending time with his dog.
When he has time off, Richard likes to spend his free time at the lake with friends and family.
Being able to work with people and make them smile has always been his goal, so dentistry has been a compatible fit for his interests.
Dr. Madyson Kalyn
DMD; University of Saskatchewan
Dr. Madyson Kalyn was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK, and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physiology and Pharmacology, followed by her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Madyson enjoys all aspects of dental care and looks forward to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages, with her main goal of making patients feel at ease in the dental chair and keeping smiles healthy for life.
When she is not at the office, Madyson can usually be found at Emma Lake with her family and friends, enjoying all activities outdoors, cooking at home, and occasionally putting miles on around Meewasin.

In addition to our dentists, Wildwood Dental Clinic is supported by a team of dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff who work together to ensure every visit runs smoothly. Our hygienists play a central role in preventive care, and our reception team is always happy to answer questions about appointments, insurance, and patient forms.
